A blue crab caught on the boat
In this activity, we caught marine invertebrates and identified them. Besides some macroorganisms such as the pictured stingray, there were also many microorganisms, plankton, that we were able to see with a microscope
We were able to identify the following marine invertebrates:

A pufferfish we caught, placed into a holding tank
A seahorse we caught, placed into a holding tank

An unidentified zooplankton under the microscope
Some phytoplankton under the microscope
